The L. S. G. C. is named to him on H. M. S. Hecla. Awarded 01/01/1912.
Francis joined the Royal Navy in 1897 as Act. E.R.A. Following continuous promotion he was demobbed 11th February 1920 as Chief E.R.A.
He was also awarded the 1914/15 Star Trio for his Great War service.
