Harry Hornigold was a fisherman born in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, 21st March 1879, when he signed up 21st March 1897. His service number was 186982. He signed up for 12 years and on completion of this period he joined the Royal Fleet Reserve, Chatham (No. B5692) on 21st March 1909.

His papers records that he died within a few months on 1st July 1909. Thus, he was 40 years old and he was living at Wisbech, Cambs.
